“The news of Abdolmalek Rigi’s arrest made me happy and made the people of Sistan-Baluchestan Province happy. People in the province want peace, security, and unity,” he stated in Zahedan on Tuesday.
He made the comments a few hours after Iran’s security forces arrested Rigi on board a flight from the United Arab Emirates to Kyrgyzstan.
He said Rigi was an illiterate terrorist who created insecurity in the province.
None of the people in Sistan-Baluchestan Province want insecurity, banditry, or suicide attacks, he stated.
